That the Parliament congratulates the winners at the Volunteering in Angus Awards dinner, which was held at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel; understands that over 50 organisations were awarded certificates and badges in recognition of two, five, 10 and 15+ years' service to volunteering; applauds especially the winners of the individual outstanding awards, Meg and Jim Milne from the Attic Youth Project in Brechin, Barrie Cooper from the Basement Youth Project at Letham, Irene Robertson from Kirriemuir Area Partnership Planting Group, Dorothy Archer from Angus Adoption & Fostering Group, Brenda Wilson from Monifieth Befriending Scheme and Phil Hope from Carnoustie Panmure FC, and further recognises and welcomes the contribution made by all the countless other volunteers across Angus.
