  • Date lodged: Monday, 05 December 2016
  • Motion reference: S5M-02933

That the Parliament congratulates Roslyne McQuillan of Grangemouth on winning the Graduate of the Year Award at the recent Scottish Fashion Awards held in London; recognises the importance of the awards in promoting the work of small businesses and individuals, such as Roslyne, to the wider fashion world; notes that the awards, in their 11th year, highlight Scottish textiles, fashions and innovators to this increasingly influential market; recognises that Roslyne’s passion for design and textiles came from the influence of her art teacher at Grangemouth High School, and wishes her every success in her future career as part of Scotland’s rich, fashionable heritage.
