That the Parliament congratulates Martin Gallagher on winning the Young Community Champion Award at the Grand Final of the Glasgow Community Champion Awards on 1 December 2016; notes that this reward recognises the efforts of individual who have made a tangible difference to their community or have inspired others through their achievements, whether through fundraising, campaigning on issues that are important to young people, or helping others less fortunate than themselves; considers that Martin embodies all of these traits and is an exceptional young man who has triumphed in the face of unimaginable adversity, and acknowledges his service to the people of the Glasgow Cathcart parliamentary constituency and the city of Glasgow as a whole.
