  • Submitted by: James Dornan, Glasgow Cathcart, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 30 November 2016
  • Motion reference: S5M-02877

That the Parliament congratulates the ScottishPower staff based at its headquarters in Cathcart, and across its other business locations, on their efforts in raising over £10 million for Cancer Research UK, which it considers a major milestone for everyone involved; recognises that the company launched a three-year partnership with the charity in 2012, with the aim of raising £5 million, which was met within just two years, and having extended this partnership in 2015, £10 million has been raised; recognises the efforts by all to help reach the £10 Million Together target so that, one day, all cancers will be cured, and wishes ScottishPower's staff continued success in their fundraising endeavours.
