Jim Millar, Scottish Samurai Great Shogun Award

That the Parliament congratulates Jim Millar on being awarded the Scottish Samurai Great Shogun award in recognition of his work promoting the relationship between Scotland and Japan for over 30 years; understands that this award is the highest honour that the Scottish Samurai Committee can bestow; commends Jim for his work, which has involved promoting trade, cultural, educational and sporting links between Japan and Scotland; recognises that he co-founded Fusion Whisky Ltd, which produces the Glover whisky, named after the original Scottish Samurai, the Fraserburgh-born Thomas Blake Glover, and congratulates Jim on receiving this on top of his previous awards, which include the Japanese Certificate of Commendation.
