  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 30 November 2016
  • Motion reference: S5M-02855

That the Parliament congratulates Chris Mulraney on being awarded the LGBT Volunteer of the Year at the Fife Rainbow Awards; notes that the awards ceremony, which it believes was the first of its kind in Fife, celebrated the contribution of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Fife; understands that Chris volunteers every week at LGBT Youth Scotland’s Flavours of Fife youth group, which is based in Kirkcaldy and aimed at LGBT people aged 13 to 25; further understands that the group has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2012 and is now recognised nationally; commends Chris on his hard work, effort and dedication; believes that this recognition is well deserved, and wishes him all the best for the future.
