Congratulations to St Andrew’s Church, Bo’ness on Big Lottery Fund Grant

That the Parliament welcomes the funding received by the St Andrew’s Church of Scotland in Bo’ness; notes that the church successfully applied for an grant of £67,500 from the Big Lottery Fund Scotland; further notes that the fund is focussed on helping people and communities most in need in Scotland; understands that the grant will be used to deliver a range of services, such as twice-weekly therapeutic groups for primary age children, two pre-school programmes, a parents and toddlers group for parents who have a child with autism, a summer holiday programme, focused parenting group work and home visits, in support of local children and families; notes what it sees as the significant and impressive community work undertaken in Bo’ness by the church in previous years; congratulates all those who have received awards from the Big Lottery Fund, and wishes all the best to those organisations that received grants and and on their continuing to make positive impacts in their local communities.
