Tenant/Resident of the Year, Jenny Speck

That the Parliament congratulates Jenny Speck, who was named the Tenant/Resident of the Year at annual Tenant Participation Advisory Service Scotland awards in recognition of her outstanding work in the Greenock community and beyond; notes that Jenny was nominated for the award by River Clyde Homes in recognition of her work to encourage customer participation and on a range of community initiatives, which include her role as the chair of the Broomhill Tenants’ and Residents’ Association, and her other activities with River Clyde Homes, including traveling to Ireland to study lessons that could be learnt from regeneration projects there; considers that Jenny is a fantastic advocate for tenants across Inverclyde in general, regularly championing the needs of individuals and the community, and applauds Jenny on her deserved win and for her work in the community.
