Record June Figures for Edinburgh Airport

That the Parliament congratulates everyone at Edinburgh Airport on the news that it experienced the busiest June on record of any Scottish airport in 2016; notes that the airport welcomed 1,173,953 passengers last month, a 6.8% rise year-on-year; further welcomes the internationalisation of the airport, which saw a 15.1% rise in the number of passengers travelling outside the UK in June, and recognises the contribution made in this regard to the Scottish economy.
