To ask the Scottish Government what definition of public health it is using in relation to its statutory food price cap policy, which was proposed in the 2026 Scottish National Party manifesto.
The Scottish Government will engage constructively with relevant stakeholders to ensure considered and thoughtful discussion on this policy. Further detail will be developed in consultation with these stakeholders to deliver effective implementation and achieve policy aims.
