Personal Information

  • Member for: Dumfriesshire
  • Party: Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party
  • Date of Birth: 01 December 1989

It is a great privilege and an honour to serve the people and communities of Dumfriesshire as your MSP. Like many people living locally, I have a strong interest in the issues that affect rural Scotland. I will champion better infrastructure, particularly when it comes to roads, rail links and mobile and internet coverage so that those who are proud to call our area home have the best possible opportunities and in order to attract investment, jobs and visitors to what is a beautiful part of the country.

I am also determined to stand up for our farming families and ensure that our public services remain as local as possible and most importantly, I want to continue to be a voice for Scotland’s place at the heart of the United Kingdom.

Democratic politics is important and I want to see more young people getting involved in the areas that interest them. My door will always be open to every constituent and I encourage you to keep track of what I am getting up to in the Parliament and across the constituency. Please keep using this site to get involved and let me know what you think.
