Girls in Energy Scholarships

That the Parliament congratulates four Fife school pupils, Emily Pugh, Cerys Robertson, Samantha Witcomb and Bing Lin, on being awarded scholarships in recognition of their hard work and commitment to their studies at a presentation held at Shell UK’s Fife Natural Gas Plant at Mossmorran; notes that the pupils are currently part of the Shell UK Girls in Energy course at Fife College’s Levenmouth campus; acknowledges that the £500 scholarships are awarded by Shell UK to help support pupils with their studies; understands that the scholarships were designed to encourage girls into the energy sector and to highlight the opportunities that exist for them in the energy industry; praises Emily, Cerys, Samantha and Bing for their hard work, and wishes them every success for the future.
