Children’s Charities Receive Donations from Lanarkshire Fishing Group

That the Parliament commends United Clyde Angling Protective Association (UCAPA) in Lanarkshire for raising £2,000 for children’s charities through a charity raffle; understands that the Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation and Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) will receive donations of £1,000 thanks to the group’s efforts; further understands that the funds will contribute to supporting children with life-shortening illness, and making dreams come true; recognises the ongoing work carried out by the Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation and CHAS, and thanks the United Clyde Angling Protective Association for its fundraising efforts.
