More Than Fibro Receives National Lottery Community Fund and Asda Foundation Grants

That the Parliament congratulates Coatbridge-based charity, More Than Fibro, on receiving a National Lottery Community Fund grant of £20,000; understands that these funds will cover the charity’s running costs for the office for an entire year; notes that the charity offers online support across social media for people living with fibromyalgia, including a closed support page for those with the condition and their carers, virtual coffee chats twice weekly, resources to help people living with fibromyalgia identify and access the benefits that they may be entitled to, and a range of further advocacy support services; considers that, although the charity was only established in 2021, it has been a huge success nationwide; understands that the charity also received a £400 grant from the Asda Foundation earlier in 2024; congratulates More Than Fibro on its success thus far, and wishes the charity continued success into the future.
