  • Submitted by: John Swinney, Perthshire North, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 20 March 2024
  • Motion reference: S6M-12575

That the Parliament congratulates The Loft Restaurant in Bridge of Tilt, near Pitlochry, on being named the Romantic Restaurant of the Year at the Scottish Restaurant Awards 2024; acknowledges what it sees as the venue's exceptional achievement in receiving five-star reviews on TripAdvisor and being selected from a competitive field of nine restaurants across Tayside, Fife, and Stirling; recognises the dedication and hard work of owners, Adrian and Nicoletta Musat, who have led the restaurant to victory for the second consecutive year, attributing their success, it understands, to the combination of attentive service, an intimate setting, and a classic menu that champions the best of Scottish produce, all of which contribute to the establishment's romantic ambiance; commends the Musats for their continued commitment to excellence since taking over The Loft Restaurant in 2016, and wishes the restaurant all the best for the coming season.
