80th Anniversary of Barrmill Jolly Beggars Club

That the Parliament congratulates the Barrmill Jolly Beggars Burns Club on its successful 80th Annual Burns Celebration; notes that the commemorative service, which celebrated 80 years of fun, friendship and raising money for charity, was held in Beith Bowling Club, and paid homage to Robert Burns' life and achievements, as well as his youth and early adulthood spent in Ayrshire; congratulates all those who performed excellently, by singing or recitation, the works of Burns; acknowledges the efforts of Kathleen Reid in organising the event, and sends its best wishes to the Barrmill Jolly Beggars Burns Club in eager anticipation for its centenary in 2044.
