New Restaurant Raising Funds for Cambuslang and Rutherglen Charities

That the Parliament celebrates the opening of Gurkha Buffet, based in the Sun Inn in Halfway, Cambuslang; recognises that, at its official opening in February 2024, the restaurant committed to donating its earnings on the day to local causes; understands that the Gurkha Buffet served over 300 customers and, as such, was able to donate £775 to both the Rotary Club of Rutherglen and local charity, LEAP; congratulates company director, Ghana Bhandari, and the entire Gurkha Buffet team on the opening of the new premises, and wishes them the best for the future.
