That the Parliament congratulates the Darvel and Area Regeneration Team (DART) on securing The King’s Award for Voluntary Services; recognises that this award is the equivalent to an MBE in recognising outstanding voluntary work, and is the highest award that a volunteer organisation can receive; considers that the work that the DART volunteers carry out has brought communities together with the common aim of regenerating community spirit and civic pride; understands that this award is even more special as it was given in Darvel’s 150th anniversary year, and considers that it is a fantastic achievement that will go down in the history books.
