Congratulations to St Fillan's Volunteers

That the Parliament recognises the huge contribution of Liam McVey and Mark O’Donnell at St Fillan’s Primary School community, after 15 years of coaching both the A and B football teams; congratulates both gentlemen on volunteering their Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings to developing a strong sense of fair play, teamwork, trust and exemplary behaviour on the pitch; further congratulates them on their encouragement, motivation and inspiration, and on developing the self-confidence of the pupils; acknowledges their role in organising, at their own expense, the annual awards ceremonies, where every pupil was given recognition for their contribution over the season; congratulates them for being champions of girls' football, and for their success in leading the teams to the 12 league championships and 11 cup competitions, and recognises St Fillan’s gratitude to them for their kindness, integrity and their tireless work for the community.
