That the Parliament disapproves of the original decision by the Scottish Football Association (SFA) to move the Scottish Cup Final from its traditional time of 3.00 pm on a Saturday to 5.30 pm on Saturday 3 June 2023 to avoid clashing with the FA Cup Final; understands that the two cup finals have often clashed and that the SFA has never felt the need to make what it considers such a drastic change; regrets that, if the FA Cup Final had gone to extra time, then the only way to have seen all of the Scottish Cup Final on TV would have been to hop from one channel to another; urges the SFA to ensure that what it sees as a fiasco and insult to supporters of the clubs, which, it believes, the SFA is paid to represent, never happens again, and requests that the SFA remembers who it works for, sticks up for Scottish football clubs, their supporters and the people of Scotland, and not for neighbouring football associations or media outlets.
