Fuel Poverty (Targets, Definition and Strategy) (Scotland) Bill

A Bill for an Act of the Scottish Parliament to set a target relating to the eradication of fuel poverty; to define fuel poverty; to require the production of a fuel poverty strategy; and to make provision about reporting on fuel poverty.

Current Status of the Bill

This Scottish Government Bill was introduced by the Cabinet Secretary for Communities, Social Security and Equalities, Angela Constance MSP, on 26 June 2018.  The Bill passed Stage 3 on 11 June 2019. Received Royal Assent on 18 July 2019.
