World Car Free Day

To mark World Car Free Day, the basement car park will be closed on Friday the 20th September.  Round the world, events are being held to highlight how we can contribute to tackling the climate emergency, and gain health and social benefits from improved air quality and creative uses of streets and car parks.

We encourage all staff to adopt sustainable travel practices to travel to work. For information on sustainable travel please see the Scottish Parliament Sustainable Travel Plan.

We will be making use of the space in the car park to hold some health and well-being activities. Please drop in to attend any of the events or contact the organiser for more information;
