Building Regulations and Fire Safety in Scotland - Inspections during building, including mandatory inspections, and penalties for proceeding without warrant
UNISON commented that "Ensuring compliance requires visiting sites and it is very concerning that respondents do not feel they get enough time out on sites."
The Committee also heard that sometimes projects progress without the necessary inspections taking place.
