Where any problems have arisen, these have been resolved in the course of day-to-day contact between officials or at meetings between Ministers and between senior officials which, since devolution, take place at regular intervals.
The Scottish Utilities Forum was established as a means for the Executive and the Scottish Parliament to maintain and develop contact with the utility companies in Scotland.

Policy and action on the knowledge economy will be co-ordinated through the work of the Joint Ministerial Committee (Knowledge Economy) and through the normal, regular contact between the Scottish Executive and officials in the relevant UK Government Departments.
Family friendly employment is key to allowing people to achieve a balance between home and family life. The Scottish Executive is in contact with Her Majesty's Government on a wide range of issues including proposals for a campaign on a UK basis.
