I think that this will be a theme today: as a committee, we are right up against the fact that we are coming towards the end of the parliamentary session, and we want to be honest with people about what we can do between now and March 2021. We can identify issues that really matter here, but it will be for Parliament to decide in the next session.

As an organisation, we benefited from having the technology in place to move to remote working immediately when lockdown hit us, in March. We have been running our tax authority remotely, with the exception of one small team of staff who have to attend to manage mail for us.
