The participants used facilitated discussions, video conferencing and an online platform to deliberate over these issues and form their recommendations.

Resources were also provided to local authorities, colleges and universities to support children and young people’s access to online learning. The Scottish Government intends to provide a digital device to every school-aged child by 2026.

The Regulations seek to address concerns around the regulation of activities such as pet breeding being outdated, with activities moving online and away from pet shops for example.
The Committee established and maintained a strong media presence over session 5 which included national, regional and broadcast media, online and social media. Communications focused on topical inquiries and issues of general public interest.
The Regulations also set out the process that planning authorities must follow if they wish to create a short-term let control area:
