Explanatory Notes Civil Litigation (Expenses and Group Proceedings) (Scotland) Bill
Section 10 requires that a party receiving financial assistance from another person who has a financial interest in, but is not a party to, the proceedings must disclose to the court the identity of the funder, details of the assistance being provided and the funder’s financial interest.

I congratulate the Glasgow city region, where 200 new employers have been accredited as paying the real living wage in the year to November 2025, benefiting almost 2,000 additional employees. The city region now has 1,300 accredited employers and it has ambitions to reach 2,000 in the next three years.
