There are no specific regulations addressing the appointment of consultants in respect of PFI/PPP projects and housing stock transfers. Directive 92/50/EEC (given effect in the UK by the Public Services Contracts Regulations 1993, SI 1993 No. 3228) establishes certain procedural rules which must be followed when awarding public service contracts.

LiS' projects tend to be new projects or expansions, rather than relocation of existing activities. Any straightforward transfer of jobs is taken in to account when calculating levels of financial assistance.
Prospective advisers are also tested on their knowledge and understanding of housing management, the legal aspects of stock transfers, finance, communications, building surveying and maintenance.
The scheme for community councils can accommodate 26, and we have 21 up and running. I am interested in young people's involvement in citizenship and in education for citizenship.
