As I said in my statement to the Parliament on 12 January, the detailed rescue package negotiated last year has not been concluded and Queen's Park FC have successfully petitioned the court for an interim administration order.
The environment is the other side of the coin. One question is how to prevent children from leaving school to buy food or how to prevent businesses from selling food on school perimeters, but another equally important question is why children want to leave the school environment to buy food.
We are finishing off the development of a website that is simple to use on a self-service basis and which explains the problems and helps people to understand how to help a disabled person to buy a house, or, if they are disabled, how they can buy a house themselves.

Last year’s figures for VAT-registered companies indicate that around 64,500 of them are trading on the internet. Roughly 60,000 of these are buying online and 25,500 have websites in which customers can order products and services online.

The Chief Operating Officer went on to say that the costs in the 2025/26 budget proposal are revenue costs as “we are not going down a capital project route of buying something in; the costs will be the licensing costs for the development of what we are doing [, and] the people costs are largely being absorbed in our budget”.

The Red Squirrel Action Planidentifies the need for action by a number of bodies. SNH and FCS both have significantroles in red squirrel conservation activity and the SNH Species Framework will providethe context for developing longer term strategies for action on red squirrels andfor other priority species.
That is why it is vital that we approach the issue in as consensual a manner as possible, ensuring that all parties and civic Scotland as a whole buy into what we are doing to make that long-term progress.
