The latest Student Loans Company figures published in June 2023 show that the current average student loan debt for Scottish borrowers on entry into repayment is £15,430. This compares to £44,940 in England, £35,780 in Wales and £24,500 in Northern Ireland.
To ask the Scottish Government what information it holds on the latest known levels of tuition fees for a first full-time degree in Scotland, and on how this compares to the levels in (a) England and (b) Wales.
The exception is that a written term of a lease for one year or less may provide that a notice of intention to quit must be in writing (see section 23(1)(a)).
This is in contrast to the position for UK Air Passenger Duty (APD) under the Finance Act 1994, where the exceptions for chargeable passengers and chargeable aircraft are for the most part set out in the primary legislation.

Scottish Government officials met with representatives of Alexander Dennis on 12 September and 14 September. The First Minister then visited the Alexander Dennis site at Larbert on 15 September to announce Scottish Government support for the company’s furlough scheme.
