I would like to raise a housekeeping point. That would be in order. My office was informed that there was a waiting list of eight people for the public seats for today's meeting.

A report on the results of the consultation was published on the Scottish Executive website on 30 September 2004, as were the responses from organisations and individuals who had agreed to publication of their response.
However, the reference on the Parliament's website, on the "open petitions" and "closed petitions" pages, to"link to full text of petition"could be considered to be misleading.
In response to the petitioner's comments regarding the public register, the commission states:"The Public Register is displayed both on the Forestry Commission's website and, in paper format, at local libraries."
SNH has advised that the code will be widely publicised through a range of media such as an access website. It has also advised that it will publish a summary code and leaflets on specific issues.

It for each NHS board to decide how best to apportion the resources available to it so as to best meet the needs of the whole of the population within its area of responsibility.
In addition, all SIPs have inputfrom local authorities as partners or “accountable bodies” and as such benefit fromthe duty of best value placed on local authorities.
