However, the UK position in relation to siting of EU agencies is a reserved matter and decisions on representation on this issue are ultimately a matter for the UK Government.
It will allow people to plan their journeys and compare routes and prices. It will ultimately cover travel by all modes - air, car, train, taxi, tram, underground, bus, coach, ferry, cycle, walk - and, most importantly, a mixture of these modes.
I understand that some councils are not members of COSLA. I do not know what the latest membership figure is. An agreement with local government should surely include all local government in Scotland and not only local authorities that are COSLA members.
The Parliament has not yet approved an order on the change of name, so it is highly presumptuous of anyone to say that that will be the name of the new institution. People should take cognisance of that before they sign themselves with that title.We do not need formally to approve the order.
