Moray Council received £1.2 million subsidy from round one of the incentivising council house building fund to help build 48 new houses. In round two, Moray applied for £1.125 million to help build 45 new houses.

I hope that that reassures the member of my bona fides in wanting to pursue an all-party approach to such decisions. In my view, that offers the best chance of securing an outcome for Moray and for Scotland.
The position of the Public Petitions Committee in the past has been to keep petitions going under circumstances of this sort, as this committee can be best placed to take the matter forward.
The convener might wish to reflect on how best to present things, but the energy efficiency action plan certainly ought to be part of the analysis as early as possible.
It is incumbent on the committee to seek the results of that consultation from the Scottish Government as they will help us to determine the best way to take forward any issues that arise.
I agree with what has been said, but I think that, out of courtesy, we should always remind public organisations about what information is legitimately given and what information should be sensitively handled, if that is the best way to describe that.
