His response is as follows: ‘We are not familiar with the term “special educational needs profile”, but can advise that following discussions with Scottish Government in 2011, a decision was made to trial a new bespoke learning difficulties/disabilities profiling tool developed by the “Dyscovery Centre” at the University of South Wales.
