Report on Human rights, equalities and access to services in rural areas of Scotland
The Minister explained that the Scottish Government “absolutely recognised” the “additional and unique cost of living pressures” in rural areas and highlighted the allocation of £3 billion in the 2025-26 budget to tackle poverty. She also discussed a number of other initiatives under specific policy areas as considered further below.
