Section 23 reports - Management of patients on NHS waiting lists - audit update and NHS financial performance 2012/13
At its meeting on 6 November 2013, the Committee took evidence from the Auditor General for Scotland on the report entitled “NHS financial performance 2012/13." The Committee then agreed at its meeting on 20 November 2013, to invite the Scottish Government to give oral evidence at a future meeting.
At its meeting on 18 December 2013, the Committee took evidence from the Auditor General for Scotland on the report entitled “Management of patients on NHS waiting lists - audit update.” The Committee then agreed at its meeting on 15 January 2014, to invite the Scottish Government to give oral evidence at a future meeting.
At its meeting on 29 January 2014, the Committee took evidence from the Scottish Government regarding both the above reports. It then took evidence from Alex Neil, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing, Scottish Government, regarding both reports at its meeting on 19 February 2014.
On Wednesday 5 March 2014, the Committee agreed to consider a draft report, in private, at a future meeting.
The Committee at its 28 May meeting considered a draft report on the Auditor General for Scotland's reports entitled NHS financial performance 2012/13; and Management of patients on NHS waiting lists - audit update. The Committee agreed various changes to the report as well as the arrangements for its publication on 3 June.
At its meeting on the 5 November 2014, the Committee agreed to note the responses from the Scottish Government and the Auditor General for Scotland to the Committee's report.
At its meeting on the 14 January 2015, the Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government on issues raised in discussion.
