Calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to review the current ‘stay-put’ policy as it applies to the fire strategy for existing multi-storey residential buildings.

The Committee agreed to consider the issues raised in the Petition during its evidence session with the Scottish Government on Building Safety and Fire Regulations on 22 January.

The petitioner submitted a supplementary submission prior to the evidence session on 22 January.

Correspondence 

At its meeting on the 4 March the Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS).
