About the Inquiry
The Committee is carrying out a three-part energy inquiry, linking an overview of RSE’s Scotland’s Future Energy Report with consideration of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, and locally owned energy.
The Committee has launched a call for written views, the closing date was 10 January 2020.
On 17 December 2019 held a scene setting session with the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s energy inquiry committee.

The Committee held an Electric Vehicle Focus Group in Stirling on Monday 13 January 2020.
On 20 February, the Committee wrote to Scottish Renewables, Local Energy Scotland and the Association for Decentralised Energy.
The Committee wrote to the Minister for Energy, Connectivity and the Islands and the Secretary of State for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy with the findings of its Energy Inquiry on 8 July.
