Code of Practice – survey for possible named persons and those sharing information with named persons
The Scottish Parliament's Education and Skills Committee is looking at the Children and Young People (Information Sharing) (Scotland) Bill which makes changes to the way information will be shared with and by Named Persons. The Code of Practice will be an important part of how this legislation will work. The Committee is therefore interested in views about the Code of Practice from professionals who will have to use it. This includes those who are or might be named persons or those required under the Bill to considering sharing information with them. This will help us to decide whether the legislation is going to work.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could read the illustrative Code (10 pages) and then answer a couple of quick questions in our survey.
The survey is now closed as the final date to take the survey was the 8th September. Read the survey results below.
