About the Inquiry
The Land Reform Act 2016 provided for the establishment of a Scottish Land Commission. Part 2 of the Act states that the Scottish Land Commission should consist of five Land Commissioners and a Tenant Farming Commissioner. While these appointments are to be made by Scottish Ministers, they must also be approved by the Scottish Parliament.
The Committee took evidence from the nominees to the Scottish Land Commission on 29 November 2016.
