Question

To ask the Scottish Government how many cases of bullying in its directorates and agencies have been recorded and investigated in each of the last 10 years.


Answer

As an employer, the Scottish Government is committed to ensuring the workplace is one where all colleagues are valued and treated with respect and dignity. Our policies and procedures allow managers to deal with concerns about bullying at an early stage and on an informal basis, where appropriate. There is no requirement to report informal action to HR and therefore no information is held centrally about cases that have been dealt with informally.
