Question

To ask the Scottish Government whether Police Scotland plans to work with Sri Lanka's Special Task Force in the future, in light of the allegations regarding its human rights record in the documentary, Keenie Meenie: Britain's Private Army.


Answer

Any future work with the Sri Lankan Police Service is a matter for the Chief Constable of Police Scotland. Police Scotland has not delivered training specifically for Sri Lanka’s Special Task Force.
