Question

To ask the Scottish Government when Police Scotland last had contact with a member of Sri Lanka's Special Task Force, and what the purpose of this was.


Answer

We understand, that from 12 to 16 December 2016 a delegation from the Sri Lankan Police Service visited Police Scotland, in relation to Human Rights compliant approaches to Public Order training. Of the four Sri Lankan Police Service officers who attended, we understand that one was from the Special Task Force.
