That the Parliament thanks Vattenfall’s European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre in Aberdeen Bay for donating £18,967 to Aberdeenshire West community projects, which seek to shift to a climate smarter world; acknowledges that this donation is shared between Strachan Village Hall, which was awarded £10,000 to contribute to the cost of installing three innovative wall-mounted air source heaters, and Aboyne and District Men's Shed, which received £8,967 to contribute to the building of the innovative Aboyne and Mid Deeside Community Shed development through the provision of solar panels; acknowledges that these donations were part of Vatenfall's £150,000 Unlock Our Future Fund; commends the efforts of both of these organisations to achieve more sustainable and environmentally-conscious premises, and supports the continued development of sustainability and climate-friendly resources in all local communities.
