That the Parliament congratulates Scottish Power on what it understands is its record £2 billion clean energy investment in the UK in 2019; recognises the impact that this will have on offering consumers access to reliable, affordable, clean energy; notes Scottish Power’s plans for a new public electric charging service, a 50MW battery storage project at the UK’s largest onshore wind farm and a 1GW pipeline of onshore wind projects, and applauds the company’s commitment to renewable energy and finding cost-effective, low-carbon solutions to support the energy needs of UK consumers.
