The Scottish Parliament’s Conveners Group will question the First Minister following her recent statement on the Government’s legislative programme.
The meeting, which will take place on Wednesday 30 September, will be open to members of the public and will feature questions from the Conveners of the Parliament’s Committees to First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
This will be the third time that the Conveners Group has questioned the First Minister on the Government’s legislative programme.
The meeting will be chaired by Presiding Officer, the Rt. Hon Tricia Marwick MSP.
Speaking ahead of the session, Mrs Marwick said:
“The Committees of the Parliament exist to hold the Government to account on behalf of the people of Scotland.
“Whilst our MSPs do this week in week out, this session will allow Conveners to question the First Minister on the broader themes of the Government’s legislative programme.”
