Purpose of the group
Help improve Scotland’s poor record on respiratory health and promote a more strategic approach to addressing long-term improvements.
Increase political awareness about the scale of respiratory illness, the cost to the NHS, its links with wider health inequalities, prevention opportunities, and the cross-cutting connections with other parts of the public health agenda.
Next meeting: 18 June 2019
This meeting will be held at 12.30pm in Committee Room 3. This will be a joint meeting with the CPG on Health Inequalities.
