This page tells you about how to petition the Scottish Parliament.

Before you start your petition you should read our guidance which lets you know what you can petition about, what you need to include in your petition and offers some handy hints about using the petitions system.

It will also be helpful to refer to our Statement of Expectations which sets out what you can expect from your engagement with the public petitions clerking team throughout the petitions process.
