Question

To ask the Scottish Government what the latest known levels of tuition fees are for a first full-time degree in Scotland, and what information it has on how this compares with (a) England and (b) Wales.

Answer

While the tuition fee rate for eligible Scottish domiciled students is £1,820, Scottish students undertaking their first full-time undergraduate degree in Scotland are not asked to pay any tuition fees for their study.

In contrast, students undertaking their first degree in England and Wales will be expected to pay tuition fee rates of £9,250 and £9,000 respectively.
