Question

To ask the Scottish Government what discussions it has had with the Law Society of Scotland regarding the Children (Equal Protection from Assault) (Scotland) Act 2019 since the bill was passed in October 2019.


Answer

Since the Children (Equal Protection from Assault) (Scotland) Act 2019 passed its final Stage in the Scottish Parliament on 3 October 2019, the Scottish Government has written to stakeholders, including the Law Society of Scotland, twice.
